Well it has been a while coming this update. We have had some changes over the last couple of months at The Edge In Hair as we have had changes in the season's. Spring brings about different challenges with hair eg new styles, colours, how long the style will last with humidity ( more to do with summer but does effect hair in spring) and getting hair ready for the rigors of the summer sun.
New styles and colours are a never ending challenge with each season change which is fantastic for us as it keeps our careers interesting. We are in an industry that is forever changing with fashions (some great, some ghastly, and there is never a dull moment with the requests that are asked from clients.
The new trend with the long messed up wavy look can be helped along with Round Up and Root Boost with the special applicator nozzle. To help with the humidity problem then there is only one product, Heat Seal. All of the products can be found on the shelf at The Edge In Hair and all are Paul Mitchell products.
Getting your hair ready for summer isn't that big of a deal. All you need to do is come and see us, have a mad relaxing massage with a moisture treatment and rinsed with Perrier water. There is nothing quite like a cool refreshing rinse after a massage knowing that your hair is going to look fab with with no dry split ends after only a few treatments.

Heal The World
Why we are in business that wants to start healing the world? After watching an old Michael Jackson DVD on learning of his death we talked about our mission statement & what it means to us as a business & as individuals. He was such a pioneer on giving to the world & making a differnce.
Part of our mission statement for The Edge in Hair is caring for our environment 365 days a year. We use environmentally friendly products that are tested on humans not animals & recycle everything we can as well as having a SPIRIT day once a year where the whole Team give a day to do something with the environment, whether it be local or global. This year our SPIRIT day consists of our team planting trees in the hope of making us a carbon neutral business & giving earth a helping hand.
I would love to know if there is anything else we can do to help in the fight of global warming. Let me know.
